Who We are
Etéreo is the embodiment of its namesake, which translates to “out of this world” or “heavenly.”
In 2018, Etéreo Founder, Jimmy Ling, had an out-of-this-world experience while at an exclusive nightclub in London. The evening started with a round of tequila shots and “saluds” shared among new friends from all across the globe. The prolific evening propelled the new friends to spontaneously book flights to Ibiza together, where more one-of-a-kind memories were shared. Ling quickly decided he wanted to bottle this feeling and share it with the masses – and thus, Etéreo was born.
Now, we raise a glass together and hope to help people around the world create their own heavenly experiences with friends old and new.
Tequila That is Out Of This World!
Etéreo, which is Spanish for “ethereal” in English, means“out of this world or heavenly.” This is the perfect description to capture those unforgettable moments and memories that define your unique lifestyle, and it is the perfect description when you take a sip of Etéreo—a true out-of-body experience.
Jimmy Ling
When I first embarked on this tequila-making journey, I knew very little about the tequila distilleries in Jalisco, Mexico. However, I was determined to share Etéreo moments with the world, so I researched, vetted, and toured half a dozen distilleries over the course of a year. This process provided invaluable insight into the entire tequila industry in Mexico—from the soil used in the agave fields to the various processes tequileros use to make tequila. I’m proud to say that Etéreo now has an unbreakable, familial relationship with the legendary Casa Camarena family, our master distiller.
Our Process For Tequila Making
In 1761, the Camarena ancestors planted more than 20 thousand agave plants – and for six generations have preserved the tradition and passion for developing the highest quality tequilas. Today, our distillery, Casa Camarena, blends decades-old, traditional techniques with modern knowledge of quality standards to perfect the taste of our tequilas.
